I support individuals and groups through transformation.

As an embodiment coach and facilitator, my approach taps into our entire human experience to understand what we long for individually and collectively and to chart a course towards our visions. Centering our entire human experience means we explore not just our mindsets but also the wisdom that rests in our tissues, in our nervous systems, in our emotions, in our bones.

We are shaped by our families, communities, identities and social and historical structures and norms. Even if it doesn't match what we want for ourselves and the world, our bodies keep us practicing actions and relationships that hold this shaping in place. For most of my life, my self-worth was attached to how hard I was working—a function of a capitalist system that connects our value to how much we produce. I was flying through life. When I started to feel this pace in my body, I realized I wanted to slow down. So I practiced a different speed, first with my body (literally sitting still for 5 minutes a day) and eventually by making deliberate choices that changed my pace and reinforced my inherent worth.

Through dialogue, meditation, centering and movement, I help my clients build embodied awareness. We identify sensations, emotions and patterns lodged in bodies that no longer support our most free and authentic self. We create a plan for taking a new shape, new practices and new ways of relating to the world and others.

There are vast amounts of information in our bodies and sensations. When we learn to listen to the language of sensations, to live inside our skins, a whole new world opens.

The mind body practices were new for me, and though they felt uncomfortable at first, they ultimately expanded my ability to learn about myself and uncover deeply rooted patterns (and conditioned tendencies) that impact how I show up.
